Introduction
The IT team is responsible for the overall network administration, the technical support, the upkeep of all servers & services and the website’s creation and maintenance.
Additionally, the team develops in-house software packages, writes code and implements exciting tools and applications that the team uses to ease the design, development and communication processes, such as the Documentation Bot, the CDR Statistics Tool and the Lab RFID authenticator.
IT team members are the to-go people when someone needs help with a technological issue or has just joined the team and needs help using the team’s platforms and working tools. They are the ones to handle and troubleshoot any network issues that arise.
Also, the IT team collaborates with Marketing members -who provide the copy and design content for the site- and implements the overall vision of how the website should look and function.

LDAP
The Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) is an open, vendor-neutral, industry standard application protocol for accessing and
maintaining distributed directory information services over an Internet Protocol (IP) network. A common use of LDAP is to provide a central place to store usernames and passwords.
This allows many different applications and services to connect to the LDAP server to validate users. AcubeSAT uses LDAP for access in all
its platforms and working tools, which means that members need only their username and password to utilize each tool. IT team is responsible for
maintaining the LDAP server and solving various issues that may occur.
