Trouble-shoot for the stars
Have you ever dreamed of launching your own space mission? 🛰️
In this workshop, you’ll get hands-on experience assembling a CubeSat mockup and integrating its essential subsystems, including the on-board computer, power supply, attitude control and communications subsystems.
But what happens when something goes wrong during assembly? Enhance your hardware engineering know-how as you troubleshoot and resolve the errors using Root cause analysis, just like a real CubeSat Systems Engineer.
Finally, communicate with your CubeSat using an antenna and observe its performance.
CubeSat Structural Design 101
Ever wondered what it takes to build a CubeSat? 🛠️
In this workshop, you’ll learn the fundamentals of CubeSat structural design, including 3D design and structural analysis.
You’ll create a 3D CAD model of your very own CubeSat design, then feel the experience of working in Assembly mode in SOLIDWORKS. You’ll also get the chance to understand the basic principles of Modal analysis as long as interpreting post-processing results using ANSA META.
You’ll gain a deep understanding of the basic workflow of a structural engineer in SpaceDot, from the design phase to the assembly and then the simulation.
OPS-GPT: Save the AcubeSAT!
What happens when AcubeSAT is in-orbit and something goes wrong? 🤔
In this workshop, you’ll learn how to manage CubeSat missions remotely using Yamcs, a popular mission control software. You’ll explore telemetry data and learn how to identify and solve in-orbit errors.
Then, take your skills to the next level by creating your own chatbot using Angular framework, a popular open-source web application framework. Could it be your mighty assistant, analyzing your CubeSAT and providing you with solutions for potential in orbit errors?
